Prosper and Little Elm Fire Departments conduct acquired structure training on Good Hope RD.

The drills used real time scenerios to practice search, rescue, fire attack and ventilation skills. They were conducted at night to present special problems unique to reduced light operations. The structure was filled with smoke from a commercial smoke machine and the crews were assigned task common to fireground duties. Personnel used equipment from both departments to accomplish the drill and Little Elm’s REHAB team provided rehab for the drill.

Prosper Firefighter’s attend Texas EMS Conference

One member from each shift was chosen to attend the Texas EMS conference in Austin, TX. The members attended CE workshops and skills classes during the week. This conference is held yearly and presents new and existing EMS techniques as well as equipment exhibits.
